You Are Here Because You Believe Birth Is About Making Mums Too.

Expert Interview with Pinky McKay

As a Newborn Mother, you are being invited to reinvent yourself because when a baby is born so is a mother, and the birth of a mother can be more intense than childbirth. You'll learn how to find peace and joy in the first 40 days after birth and how your postpartum experience can change your life.

Pinky McKay is one of Australia’s most recognised and respected breastfeeding experts. She’s an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and best-selling author of 4 titles including Parenting By Heart and Sleeping Like a Baby, (Penguin Random House). Pinky specializes in gentle parenting styles that honour mothers’ natural instincts to respond to their babies.

An award-winning Business Woman, Pinky is the creator of Boobie Foods, all-natural and organic foods to nourish breastfeeding mothers and she also offers a business Bootcamp for Lactation Consultants in Private Practice.

Pinky’s work is inspired by her passion to see ‘every mother with a baby in her arms and a smile on her face.’ She says, “support is essential for all new mothers and the professionals who work with them – by lifting each other, women thrive, mothers can reach their breastfeeding goals and families can enjoy a gentle, connected beginning.”

Pinky’s ‘get real’, no-nonsense approach, along with a blend of humour, sharp wit and wisdom, make her an expert source for national publications and major network TV. Her real-world experience stems from being the mother of five and grandmother of four.
