Check out these amazing reflections from Newborn Mothers students.

“I'm not sure if I can choose just one favorite thing from this training! I truly enjoy how involved all of our instructors are. Also, the organization and relevance of content in the curriculum is carefully thought out and fine tuned for the students. Another amazing thing is how much communication there is. I don't ever feel like I'm in the dark about anything and know exactly what is expected of me and my peers. Also, I love the sense of community. I wasn't sure how that was going to be with the training being online but it works so well! I'm not at all technologically advanced so the way everything is set up in Simplero is fantastic! I truly feel like I belong in this group and that my ideas are worth listening to.”

— Nicole Hampton, United States

“My favourite thing about this training is learning to lean into my feminine skills and find ways to use my strengths to support both new mothers (and their families) as well as any person experiencing difficulty or vulnerability.”

— Dani Potter, Australia

“It has enable me to work towards a job that is aligned with my career trajectory outside traditional institutions. I have always wanted to work with women and care for women. This study enabled me to fast track to doing just those things.

I like how broad the view of the course is. It doesn’t favour one way of doing something without good research to back it up. And it also adds a humanness which often is lacking in other courses. I enjoyed the new addition of sharing calls knowing if I needed emotional support it was available. As a mother it’s a big load to carry isolated.

— Shaadeeh, Australia

“I'm certified as a lactation consultant and a doula in Estonia, mainly working with postpartum clients (but my doula training was mostly dedicated to offering a pregnancy and birth support). I will be feeling more valuable in the field of postpartum care and have more courage to offer my services.”

— Daisi Kuuse, Estonia

“There is a lot of practical information that helped me clarify my vision regarding my role. When I started the course, I was working as a waitress with no vision of my future. Now, I can dream of becoming a doula and make new mums more confident.”

— Valentina Vladimirova, Cyprus

“Take it 100%. It is very easy to navigate & it is 100% worth the investment. Some of the content I never even thought of until completing the course and working through each module. I have a deeper understanding on how I can help my clients and to feel comfortable in the breastfeeding space within my practice. I also feel a lot less disappointed in myself for my "short lived" breastfeeding journey after educating myself throughout this course. It's helped me to heal & to understand so much more about breastfeeding in general.”

— Tess Bachelor, Australia

“Alongside this course I am also studying to be a birth Doula. I aim to specialise in Birth and Postpartum once I have completed both my courses. I have a passion for life once again and don't feel like another number sitting behind a desk letting all my dreams go to waste for a paycheck. It feels great to be learning again and being able to contribute something back to women. This course has helped me identify some of my own triggers within my postpartum story and is healing myself along the way.”

— Jessica Simpson, Australia

“I couldn't thank Julia enough for offering me the scholarship to the Newborn Mothers Collective. That program literally changed my life. On a personal level, it allowed me to re-read the story of my motherhood and to heal, to forgive what I blamed myself for. Since then, I started to create my support village and... my life is really different!

From a professional point of view, it allowed me to start my business, to dare to show myself online ((I launched my website and podcast within a month!) and continues to accompany me step by step thanks to the group of graduates from whom I receive so much value. I love the life I lead today and I hope that many women will be able to live this transforming experience.”

— Johanna Armnius, France

“I've been telling everyone how cool it is that the course takes both neuroscience and anthropology into account. It really helped me make sense of my own postpartum experience and I can't wait to help other new mothers understand that they are NORMAL and give them the kind of support they really need to thrive.  As someone who is just starting out in the doula world, I am confident that I have a solid understanding of what new mothers need and how to help them in a way that many professionals don't.”

— Laura Funk Kopecky, United States

“Julia has an incredibly warm, effervescent and engaging persona. I felt like the way she spoke, what she spoke about and how the course was structured offered me a depth of insight into my own journey and a welcome reverence for this work. The simplicity, the colours and fonts used, and the workbooks are all very beneficial also.”

— Renee Amber Dyson-Holland, Australia

“I feel like this training has been a key stepping stone towards the work I have been moving towards for many years. I feel like I am finally on the right path to doing what I love. It's been the 'missing piece’ - and one that has given me so much more than knowledge; it's connected me with an amazing community of like-minded, purpose-driven women who inspire me daily.”

— Justine Law, Australia

“Thank you so much for this course. I feel like I’m gushing but truly, as a birth professional who has taken numerous training over the last 20 years, I can honestly say there is so much wisdom and transformative power in this one course! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!”

— Julie-Anne Mauno, Canada

“I am absolutely loving the course, as I shared previously on the Facebook page, this is exactly what my heart and soul were longing for, and the content is meeting all my expectations and areas of interest.”

— Nina Marina Prado, Australia

“You are really doing an amazing work, turning the world in a better direction. Your support, inspiration and making everybody, no matter the situation, believe that she is enough. It's become my mantra:'I am enough. Just the way I am.' Everyone should hear this and embrace it. Just the way you are you hold experience, wisdom and value. Just the way you are you can add to this world becoming a better, happier and more loving place for all of us. You count and you are precious.”

— Sara Aranel, Slovenia

“Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! The course is so great. I learned so many things - not just for working as a postpartum doula, but things for life!

The most important thing for me was to understand the value of self-care and to start implementing it on a regular basis in my own life.”

— Nadia Dimitrova, Bulgaria

“I am new in my career as a postpartum doula, but I now have a deeper knowledge of breastfeeding which I know will be so helpful to just have and provide insights to clients I am working with.”

— Emma Neale, Australia

“I feel much more confident and competent, and I have hope that my work will be meaningful, and that we can save the world one baby at a time. I am just starting a postpartum doula service, and this is a great base, plus this and the Collective already connected me with some great people.”

— Nusi S Viranyi, Hungary

“It has given me so much more confidence to now support parents in their breastfeeding journeys as before. I felt like a fish out of water, a little bit of a fake it till you make it and also had no idea I was holding onto some of my own baggage which I'm sure would have affected my support. So I feel so joyful and excited to support mummas going forward with all the wonderful knowledge and self reflection I have gained from this course and Julia and Antonia's insight, wisdom and heart.”

— Georgie Druckmann, Australia

“I feel empowered with knowledge and the right information to now connect with mothers who need support and encouragement where it has been lacking for them. It is also amazing to be able to collaborate with other professionals in this field and be able to offer all the ingredients to make a magical mothers empowerment meal! I feel more confident about a better, informed and positive way forward in helping mothers on their own unique and sacred journey.”

— Violet Wigley, Australia

“Do it! totally worth it, a very valuable course for everyone helping families. I feel more ready and empowered to change my career. My love for the postpartum doula profession has grown immensely!”

— Tine Peeters, Belgium

“Through the support and guidance I’ve received through this group, I’ve doubled my monthly income. I am clear on the steps I need to take to double it again! It’s been a wonderful container for growth alongside other business owners on a similar journey.”

— Amy Marshall, Canada

“As someone who has spent a lot of years not knowing what I didn't know about building a business, the opportunity to explore the inner workings of those on a similar path has been eye-opening. I have developed a more focused and intentional mindset and am consistently motivated to take concrete steps towards my goals.”

— Heather Magill, United States

“I didn’t know what I didn’t know and signing up for the Mastermind with Julia has completely revolutionized the way I’m not just doing my work but also thinking about it all. I had no idea what I was missing; it was her and this class. I’m so ready to take it to the next level and with her as my coach, I know I will.”

— Chelsea Robinson, United States

“The mastermind has helped me get really clear on the steps I need to take to move forward in my business and the calls help me stay accountable to my goals. I love learning from Julia and the group has been so wonderful and supportive. Highly recommend this mastermind!”
