Podcast - Episode 68 - Having Babies Overseas

You Are Here Because You Believe Birth Is About Making Mums Too.

Doula Interview with Heather Magill

As a Newborn Mother, you are being invited to reinvent yourself because when a baby is born so is a mother, and the birth of a mother can be more intense than childbirth. You'll learn how to find peace and joy in the first 40 days after birth and how your postpartum experience can change your life.

Heather is a postpartum doula and educator whose passion is to help new moms and families find calmer, confidence and connection in their lives. She gave birth to her first child while living overseas, and has a special interest in working with families who are living away from their home country. She believes that all parents deserve to feel trusted and supported in their parenting choices and that the well-being of the mother is essential to the well-being of her entire family. She lives outside of Boston, Massachusetts, with her husband and three school-age children.

She can be found at Infant Concierge on both Instagram and Facebook.

On The Podcast:

Heather is from the US but had her first baby in South Korea and was very isolated. Her experience led her to train as a postpartum doula and she now lives in Boston supporting other families having babies away from home. Starting her business has encouraged her to face and overcome some of her own personal struggles with trauma and social anxiety, which has not only improved her business but also her life.
