Podcast - Episode 35 - Trauma Resolution

You Are Here Because You Believe Birth Is About Making Mums Too.

Expert Interview with Nisha Gill

As a Newborn Mother, you are being invited to reinvent yourself because when a baby is born so is a mother, and the birth of a mother can be more intense than childbirth. You'll learn how to find peace and joy in the first 40 days after birth and how your postpartum experience can change your life.

Nisha Gill of Feminine Instincts is a Melbourne-based Somatic Experiencing (Trauma Resolution) Practitioner with a background in counselling, bodywork, birth education, doula support, feminine embodiment yoga and birth hypnosis.

She is passionate about supporting families to thrive in their perinatal journeys so that emerging generations of babies can benefit from the imprints of safety and loving connection.

Nisha specializes in birth and sexual trauma resolution via a mind-body approach which focuses on capacity and safety at the level of the autonomic nervous system. The approach promotes a felt sense of calm and confidence during pregnancy and increases the birthing person’s threshold to stress and trauma in birth.  Post-natally, Nisha combines this subtle but powerful somatic approach with early birth debriefing to reduce the potential for lasting trauma responses.

Nisha works with individuals in person and online. She also provides trauma education to perinatal professionals and others.
